Essential oils for connecting with Angels

Most people believe in angels-- their loving guidance, protection and aid offers us a feeling of being safe and loved. It is always nice to know that someone is there watching over us. In a poll that Fox News ran; 78% of people polled believe in angels--more believe in GOD (92%) than angels, ghosts (34%), UFOs (34%) and miracles (82%) . This article will be a guideline for which essential oils and fragrances are best used for attracting our winged helpers and how to go about using them for such.

According to aromatherapist Valerie Ann Worwood, (as she writes about in her book The Fragrant Heavens ) angels are attracted the the vibrational pull of pure fragrances because they are the closest thing in the physical world to their own energy vibrations. She also advises that you need more than just essential oils and fragrances to attract angels, and to each soul it is a very personal matter. She also notes that is imperative to have good intent and purpose when asking to connect with your angels for support. Experiment with different essential oils to find which work best for you. In Biblical times, the precious oils of Frankincense, Myrrh, Galbanum, Hyssop, Spikenard, Rosemary, Cinnamon and Cassia, were used throughout for healing, anointing the sick, and as the angels attracted to such scents, aromas, and frequencies must be noted. But because of their "light" nature, not just these, but other essential oils too, have been known to join angels attentions. "According to Dr. Robert O. Becker in his book "The Body Electric," the human body has an electrical frequency and that much about a person's health can be determined by it. Frequency is the measurable rate of electrical energy flow that is constant between any two points.

Everything has frequency." And here's a little f.y.i.--"In 1992, Bruce Taino of Taino Technology, an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington, built the first frequency monitor in the world. Taino has determined that the average frequency of a healthy human body during the daytime is 62 to 68 Hz. When the frequency drops, the immune system is compromised. If the frequency drops to 58 Hz, cold and flu symptoms appear; at 55 Hz, diseases like Candida take hold; at 52 Hz, Epstein Bar, and at 42 Hz; Cancer. Taino's machine was certified as 100 percent accurate and is currently being used in the agricultural field today."

After much trial and error, researching, and creating angel blends with prayer, thought, music and meditation, I've come to the conclusion that everyone has their own unique call-out combination of essential oils that work for them... it really comes down to whatever works for you. That was a message I received over and over again. Although I have found similarities, parallels, and other common denominators that have led me to believe specific essential oils that carry higher frequencies have an innate ability to aid in the connection with specific archangels and angels, it is always nice to have a guideline and find your own path from there.

Best Essential Oils for Connecting with Angels :

Geranium- ( Pelargonium graveolens) , or Rose Geranium - ( Pelargonium roseum)
Geranium has to have a place on this list if not only for its delightful rosy-green scent, but also for its properties aligning with the heart. Geranium is a wonderful choice to aid in connecting with angels as it sends messages of an open heart, and helps to increase the capacity for intuition, and intimate communication to give, receive, and express emotions.

Hyssop- (Hyssopus officinalis)
Hyssop gets a definite place on this list as it is probably most recognized for purification and repelling negativity. As stated in the Bible, "Thou shalt purge me with hyssop, and I shall become clean; Thou shalt wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow" ( Ps . 51:7). But hyssop is also a great essential oil for connecting with angels as it also promotes equilibrium, forgiveness, calm, truth and faith which are all an asset when communicating with these wonderful light beings.

Spikenard- ( Nardostachys jatamansi)
Spikenard (or 'nard) is commonly referred to in the Bible --Mary, the sister of Lazarus, --when she broke open her jar of Spikenard ointment and washed Jesus' feet, and anointed him with this fine oil, (which at the time was worth as much as gold) and became a page in a spiritual history. Spikenard is a must have in many spiritual essential oil blends. Add spikenard when creating a blend for connecting with angels to comfort the heart, increase spiritual love and spiritual faith.

Myrtle- (Myrtus communis)
Many believe that myrtle is a gift from the heavens. Aren't all essential oils, plants, flowers, trees, etc., gifts from the heavens? During the 16th century, Myrtle was a major ingredient of 'Angel water'. Some say it will draw the Archangel Chamuel and angels of love close to your heart so that you are filled with blessings from the Divine. Myrtle can also encourage unconditional love for yourself and others, and is very useful in dealing with relationship problems. It helps to heal rifts and gently supports you in moments of distress. Myrtle also encourages forgiveness, comfort, acceptance, empowerment, harmony and is very uplifiting for the soul.

Lavender- ( Lavendula Angustifolia )
What can be said about lovely Lavender? ...Except that it is the most used essential oil (for good reason) and by far the most kept-on-hand staple in any aromatherapy enthusiast's cabinet. It is the go-to oil for almost everything. Useful in all energy treatments to relax and balance. Lavender embodies the warm, protective love of the earth, and should be included in almost any angelic blend to connect with your angels. Another added benefit is that lavender essential oil is one of the only essential oils that can be used neat, or undiluted (directly on the skin with no carrier oil added).

Cedarwood (Cedrus Atlantica) & Sandalwood (Santalum Album) --Almost any of the wood family should be included in your Connecting with Angels blend. Since these two are so close in terms of connecting with angels, I had to list them together. The use and history of Cedarwood & Sandalwood essential oils (resins) reaches back to ancient times, many temples, and sacred places were built out of these aromatic woods to help lift up their spirits. Sandalwood helps to promote higher states of consciousness by facilitating deep meditation states, and Cedarwood encourages focus, balance, concentration and promotes deep spiritual connections by helping to open the pathways, and sustain the energy. By believing that God will send his love and light through messages from the angels, we can receive guidance and protection from our winged friends.

Rose Otto or Rose Absolute ... the love inspired, intoxicating and lovely rose oil. Rose, of course has to be one of the top essential oils if not just for the fact of its well-known, and long history of use, but also for its super high vibrational frequency, (therapeutic grade rosa damancea registers at 320 Hz). Angles can't help but love it's aura. Rose has a way of calling in the choirs of angles to such an exquisite gem in the treasure trove of essential oils. A little FYI---it takes about 30 large roses to procure 1 drop of pure rose essential oil.

Frankincense & Myrrh - These two essential oils are a must for this list and are probably the most widely known spiritual connectors, (and are listed in the Bible numerous times) so I couldn't separate them. They are technically resins, but many versions are not pure and have been highly diluted or adulterated, so be careful when purchasing both. Frankincense and Myrrh are regarded very highly and have been throughout history, so both include a high place on this list, as they are both equally used in almost all of my angelic essential oil blends, and have always been associated with spirituality, since ancient times. Frankincense is a must-have in almost any angelic blend as it helps with calming, grounding, and promotes meditative states. While Myrrh, can help link us with the pathway of our soul with protection and trusting our inner feelings. Just the calming and meditative aromas of these two well known resins will help you be "in the right space" to be able to connect with angels. There's just a sacred feeling you get when you breathe in these precious resins....like you're connecting with something much greater than yourself.

Sweet Orange, Tangerine, Lemon Blossom (almost any citrus) . There's nothing like the happy, bright freshness of citrus; the burst of aroma always brings a smile. And angels love it too! The frequencies of citrus oils are quite high vibrating essential oils, and definitely deserve a spot in this list. Choose the citrus oils that most speak to your inner child and add them to your angel blends, you'll be glad you did. Just note that most citrus oils are photo-toxic so stay out of the sun after using them.

Angelica - (Angelica archangelica)
Even the name Angelica archangelica suggests what it can best be used for, so of course Angelica would have to be included in this list for use in connecting with angels. Angelica archangelica is also commonly known as Garden Angelica, Holy Ghost, Wild Celery, Angel's Herb, Root of the Holy Spirit, Archangelica officinalis , and Norwegian angelica, which is a biennial plant from the Apiaceae family. With angelica's warm, earthy, herbal, and other-worldly essence, it's the perfect essential oil to begin your connection with angels journey. But take note, this essential oil is very strong in nature and must be heavily diluted with a carrier oil to receive the scent of its true aroma.

Cypress --as it has the ability to strongly connect with human frequencies,
Galbanum --as is the fragrance that allows for the shedding of old ideas and outdated behavior and attitudes, Black Pepper --known for protection,
Neroli --the scent alone is divine in nature and can aid in angelic connection,
Jasmine --a beautiful aroma to add to any angelic blend--,
Helichrysum italicum -- a most healing and opening essential oil, perfect for healing type angelic blends,
Blue Tansy - -lovely blue oil to call upon the angels aid,
Bay Laurel --well known for spiritual connections,
Bergamot- a perfect addition to any angelic blend,
Pink Lotus --(or any lotus), flowers of water and light, are especially wonderful for Archangel Chamuel and angels of love,
Coriander- -lovely, light and slightly floral, coriander is a marvelous addition to any angelic blend,
all Spruces, Firs, and Juniper berry --perfect spiritual connections to help open the pathways to spirit,
Grapefruits (included with citrus) ,
Chamomiles both Roman and German - -soft spoken and calming, sweet reminders to bring a softness, as they help calm and reduce any sort of inflammation (including spiritual) and are amazing for angelic connections,
as well as Rosewood, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint, and Vanilla just to name a few other favorites for angels.

How to Use Essential Oils for Connecting with Angels:
The best way to begin using essential oils for making a connection with angels is to choose the oils from this list that most speak to you. There are numerous ways to use these precious oils to attract the angels, such as:
In a diffuser, to fill the space with the chosen scent and vibration, by adding a few drops to a tissue or piece of cloth to carry around with you and call upon the angels whenever needed, or by creating a blend (or anointing oil) to wear or consecrate specific items like candles, feathers, or whatever calls to you. All of these will work fine, it really comes down to what works for you.

To create a blend for connecting with the angels, add no more than 25 drops per ounce of a carrier oil such as olive, sunflower, grapeseed, sweet almond, or the like.
Also, please check with proper usage of essential oils as many are unsafe to use during pregnancy, and for children.
